About us

Michele and Riaan emigrated to New Zealand in 2009. They settled in the lovely little suburb of Mellons Bay, adjacent to Howick, Auckland. They fell in love with the beautiful country and consider themselves fortunate to live in what they consider to be a "Piece of Paradise".

Michele's Looking Glass has been operational since 2012 and offers a comprehensive Custom Glass Etching and Picture Framing Service for corporate and private clients. Prior to that, Michele had a studio in South Africa for fifteen years.

Michele received training in South Africa as well as USA and strives to stay up to date with the latest techniques and products. She is a bit of a perfectionist and prefers to do all the work on her customers' projects herself.

Riaan assists Michele with technical support on a part time basis. He helps problem solve and ensures that the specialized equipment is well maintained and operational. His assistance is vital to the smooth functioning of Michele's Looking Glass.
